1961 - THE IDEA Joseph Romano sells his building and turns to his sons Dick and Bob for investing advice.

They realize there is lack of counseling services for people without experience and knowledge to invest smaller amounts of money.
1964 Dick begins teaching theFinancial Planning extension course at New Trier High School, which Joe teaches today.

1980 Dick featured in People in the News, Chicago Sun Times. People in the News
1983 Dick’s daughter Kathy and Bob’s daughter Donna, join firm.
1985 Dick elected to NASD Board of Governors.

2010 Dick named Chicago Illini of the Year.
2011 Joe Romano appointed to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Small Firm Advisory Board and Evanston Firefighter Pension Board. FINRA
